If you love south indian food, this is the most authentic south indian food you can find in inland empire. Their menu has south indian items that you do not get in many indian restaurants. Their lunch special is absolutely the best in terms of taste, value and quantity. Their lunch special comes with a choice of meat or vegetable, rice, Naan bread, Potato Bhajji, Sambar and papad. Their chicken gravy that comes with the lunch special is really tasty and authentic. Do let them know before you order whether you want it spicy or mild. If you opt for their Dosa and sambar for lunch, it is a little bit pricy but very tasty. Their sambar is one of the best! The only thing we did not like about the place is that they charge extra for sambar if you want more sambar. I have never been there for Dinner, so no comments about Dinner!

Their ambience is very south indian. They are not very spacious, so it is not a place you would want to go if you want to have private conversations. It is more of a quick and good lunch place or a place to get some good aouth indian carry out.

As for the price, their lunch specials is under $6. If you go for the a la carte during lunch, you might end up spending around $10 which is not so bad. Their dinner menu can be pretty expensive depending on what you order.

I would definitely recommend this place for thir lunch specials. All that great food for just under $6…no indian restaurant can beat that!

Indian Restaurants – Punjab Palace

I love their lunch buffet. They have a lot of nice varieties both for vegetarian and non-vegetarian people. Their Chicken curries are awesome and they normally have a lamb dish as well..I am not a big fan of lamb, so I stay away from it. They normally have a couple of soups (1 vegetarian and 1 non-vegetarian) and a nice fruit and salad bar as well. Good Desserts as well…it is always the Gulab Jamun and Carrot halwa….very tasty! The food looked fresh everytime I have been there. I have never been there for Dinner…so no comments about Dinner!

They have TV’s all around playing Indian channels and you don’t have to sit in specific chairs to watch TV…you will be able to watch TV from all thier chairs & tables. I love watching the Indian channels during lunch….more relaxing.

The one thing I do not like about this place now is their price. They recently increased their lunch buffet price and you will easily spend about $11 to $12 per person for lunch. I wish they had kept the previous price which would be $9 to $10 per person for lunch
